What’s a Sunday Service Like? What’s the Music Like?
- 8:00 | Casual and informal, in this service you will experience the old hymns accompanied by piano and messages delivered by Pastor Robert Sefrit. Holy Communion is celebrated once a month.
- 9:00 | Come as you are and join us for our contemporary worship service. Our worship team leads this service with modern worship songs and Pastor Robert delivers the message. Other elements can include videos, anointing with oil, monthly communion, and more ways to experience God’s presence.
- 11:00 | Whether you dress up or go casual, you will fit in our traditional worship service. This service consists of creeds, hymns accompanied by pipe organ, and special music from our chancel choir, bell choir, and orchestra. Messages are delivered by Pastor Robert. Experiential worship opportunities include anointing with oil and a monthly celebration of Holy Communion.
Who attends Marshfield?
We are a multi-generational congretation. Kids, Youth to Adults and Seniors. Students, teachers, execs, temp workers, singles, married couples, those who consider themselves Christians and those who aren’t sure what they believe. We are diverse and love everyone who joins us.
How do people dress?
No expectations here. Jeans are great. A few people dress up, but we are happy to welcome you no matter what you are wearing.

Getting connected at Marshfield is easy. You can start by signing up for our bi-weekly newsletter “The Memo”, we send out hard copies via US Postal Service and email. Where do my kids go during services?
Your kids are welcome to hang out in worship with you. We love seeing and hearing the little ones in service. So don’t worry if they are restless or making noise. If you prefer, we offer both a nursery and Sunday morning programming for all children. In our Welcome Area, you can safely check your child(red) in. Kids are engaged in age appropriate, interactive bible based worship and learning while you are able to relax and focus completely on what’s happening during worship.
Are you Methodist? And, What’s a Methodist?
Methodists are Christians who are inspired by the life and works of John Wesley. Methodists share most things in common with other Christians: an orthodox belief system articulated by the Apostles Creed.
