OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC
Currently we are sacking and delivering breakfasts and lunches Monday-Friday on behalf of the school for 70 children in our community. We meet at the church at 10:45 a.m.
We are constantly stocking nonperishable food and personal hygiene products at the Blessing Box. You may leave donations in the box located on the south side of our Ark building.
We are writing notes of encouragement to our nursing home residents and shut-ins.
Some are sewing masks for our nursing home residents at Strafford.
Through a generous donation, we have a fund to help those who are struggling at this time. If you or anyone you know is in need, please call the church office or Pastor Robert.
Going to Get Groceries For People. If you need this service, please call the church office or Pastor Robert.
If you would like more information on any of these opportunities, you may call Pastor Robert or the church office.
CHANGING THE WORLD | AT HOME AND ABROAD
Service at Marshfield starts with our in-house teams. Hospitality is critical to our visitors. Part of our mission involves creating a welcoming space for visitors on Sunday mornings. This requires a great deal of work, care and attention to detail. The Hospitality Nursery and Children’s and Music Teams works to make Sundays at exceptional each week.
Hospitality covers a large area, from Ushers & Greeters & those who serve Communion, to those who assist with events. If you would like to make a difference to Regular Attenders, Members and our Visitors this could be the service area for you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
Those who work with Marshfield UMC kids help in a variety of ways. We have needs to assist with Kids Crossing which is our Wednesday after school ministry. We also have ministry opportunities available with JAM (Jesus and Me) which meets during the 9:00 and 11:00 worship services. For more information email email@example.com
